Other than having to clean my gun sooner than I would with other Ammo it's always worked great in my .22s. Marlin 795 and heritage rough rider. Not one issue just dirty and smells more lol.Comment

While I'm sure you had zero issues with the HV in your Trailside.
I would caution you from doing so on a regular basis.
Yes, the manual says the pistol will function with either SV or HV.
However you are going to break the trigger bar, trigger spring and possibly the slide by feeding it a steady diet of HV.
This thread has some good info:
I haven't been here in quite a while and I apologize if I'm asking an old question but I was curious if any of you shoot a Sig Trailside. If so, what do you think of it?
I stick to CCI Std. & Aguila SV and have zero issues.
Hope this helps out Barbarosa.

Aguila has been discussed recently:
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.Comment

Aguila is good, but I'm convinced most any standard velocity 40 grain round nose cartridge is the autoloader's best friend.Comment
