    Success at the Range.

I would have really loved to post some pics of my guns and targets, but I'm not that savy. But, I had a Hellava good time at the range yesterday. Everything worked right. After a Little tinkering, tightenening loose grip screws, taking a lil oil to lube said guns and a wiping towel , I was ready to roll.
Last week I posted that I had taken my Hi-Standard Supermatic Citation out and it was causing me Misery after I loaded her with some Hi Velocity rnds.
She was jamming in every sense of the word. I thought She was picky, and maybe my mags were all messed up. But thanks to my friends here on Cal guns , pointed me in the right direction. I tried Two different types of Standard velocity rnds in her. Standard CCI blue box lead rnds, and some German made .22lr called SK that came in a Red Pringles type cannister with a pull tab.
Both ran spot on. With the Pistol,I gave her a quick cleaning before i shot and intermittently wiped her throat and magazines with my rag. I was a Happy Camper. Though my aging eyes are'nt what they use to be, I was printing groups I thought were so tight,I amazed myself. You Know, that Ol" addage, The Older I get the Better I was. But..... I'm as good ONCE as I ever Was

Cool. Sounds like a nice outing. We all need more like that. Hang onto that Hi-Standard. It is something to keep.
