So i shot it this weekend at 25 yd indoor range surprised at actually how accurate it shot after siting in. But since i was too excited to finally shoot it i forgot a small gun rest and ended up borrowing a chair that was too high and had to improvise with my ammocan... My best group i wont post as it ended up in the shape of a biological feature only men have... At least when i first saw it i said to my wife look i shot a heart for you but she insisted nah it looks like a p****...

As much as id like to keep it in its original state i dont have the funds to have 2... So i already have a victory stock and er shaw barrel sitting.

I picked up a 1970 model in mint condition four years ago for a hundo from a pawn shop. Serial is 110-13xxx. The original stock was missing, and a Dragonov was in its place. Besides the early build differences listed, the charging handle is stainless with a higher quality spring, and the stock rear sight is a very higher quality Lyman sight.

'A biological feature only men have'?

            You mean, like a wallet?

I've got one from 1980 and has the birch stock and plastic but plate. When did they switch from walnut to birch?

The older 10/22's are very nice and a cut above the modern ones. I lucked into this one a few years ago and I would not sell it.
