Scope recommendations - cheapish, but with fine crosshairs

my eyes are crapping out - need a compact scope for a BL22 that has fine crosshairs. max range is 50 yards - this is for firing quiet or subsonic loads at pests. I have plenty of glass at higher power but would like something in the 4 to 6 power range for headshots at short range.

By small crosshair I mean something less than 1/4 moa. a leupold vx 6x would be a good comparison, but cheap.
