Yeah, works fine. Comes with several different height front sights.

I have the GSG kit, which is identical (Sig Sauer bought GSG and stamped their name on the slide), and it works great, but mine shoots a little high, even with the tallest front sight, and I haven't gotten around to remedying that yet.

I did a little polishing of the slide rails before function testing it, but when I did, it cycled every type of HV ammo I tried, not just the Mini-Mags and Golden Bullets recommended buy the instructions. Grouping is pretty good at 25 yards.

Your accuracy may depend on the frame to slide fit of your particular weapon. I use mine on my Gold Cup, where I've already peened the frame rails for a tighter fit.

I got the SigSauer kit and it works great. Note that it works with Series 80 1911s. I use it on a SigSauer 1911. It has worked reliably. I have not experimented with a lot of ammo. I tend to just shoot mini-mags in 22LR pistols because it seems like the supersonic loads with a bit more recoil function more reliably.

works pretty well for me.. I took the stuipd firing pin safety out so i could use it on other 1911s. It can get about 700 rounds through it before the gunk really jams it up. Very accurate. I can plink discs out to 100yrds with it.

the drawbacks would be the slide material and the mags. mags construction is kind of iffy and rough. some bind and don't insert fully with slide forward.. So the slide, its made of soft material so the slide stop eats into it.


Ive run about ~6k rounds through it so far and overall. I like it, Cheap to buy and cheap to shoot. lets me warm up with my 1911s before i start shooting regular 45 through ithem

I went with the Nelson conversion a couple years ago.
There are a few options for customization. Buy once, cry once. You won't be disappointed.

I bought one to use on my RIA tactical and it would not fit. The area down in the frame where the slide stop goes thru was not milled out enough to accommodate the .22 SIG barrel. I was not about to start grinding on my gun. Google this issue and certain 1911 pistols have the same issues. Regards

Not exactly your question, but I've used the Kimber conversion kit on my Springfield, Kimber and Colt 1911's with no problem.
