Has anybody ever tried to buy ammo on sale that advertised on the first day of the sale?

They don't ever seem to have any even when the store first opens in the morning.

How do they get away doing this?

I'm not a attorney but isn't there something legally wrong with this practice.

I don't think I'll shop there anymore.

The brand new one in south san jose had tons of 22lr bulk packs in stock as of last week. I got 4 boxes of 400 rounds Browning for $25 per box.

Funny. I didn't know so many people feel the same way I do about that store. I think they should change their name to A-holes.

I did buy some Power Bait from A-holes because no one had the color I wanted in stock. They had a $10 rebate on 4 bottles, so it came to half price.

In my area we had 2 Chick's Sporting goods but Dick's bought them out a few years back. Went from Chick's to Dick's. Guess they still are.

I heard bad things online about Dick's but the funny thing is, the one here is actually really helpful.

I'll go in to pick up extra ammo just because; their "4 box limit" requirement isn't even enforced! The lady rings me up, helps our bday is only days apart, and on I go. I'll go back a few hours later and buy up another couple of boxes.

Let's go back further; 2 years+ ago I purchased a Savage rifle. It was my first gun purchase at a non-gun store so I thought the process would suck but it went pretty well. Not only did the sale they had save me a ton, the guy gave me extra receipts so I can mail out my proof of purchase for said-rebate as well as giving me an extra discount for being former military.

Maybe I just lucked out?

The store in Folsom refuses to do private party transfers. I brought this up with the store manager and he basically said oh well. I try not

Funny thing about the Folsom Dick's is a just posted a couple of weeks ago about this location being a disorganized cluster %^&% and the manager should be ^%$^ canned.

I've bought ammo on sale at Dick's. Of course it's hard to tell what's on sale because they never label the sale ammo. Weird store, like they don't really want to sell it.
