My grandkids love their Crickett rifles.

These are my Grandkids Crickett rifles, junior sniper version. With the birth of my newest Granddaughter last month, I'm going to have to build another pink one, or maybe a purple laminate stock.





They are pretty darn accurate stock from the factory.

It has the pink stock and it is the stainless steel version, and it also has the factory scope mount, sling swivels and box. She put about 200 rounds through it, and has graduated to a 10-22. I have her consent to sell it.

I picked one up for her two months ago when I got my tax return. She's only three now, but still too young for it. I already had an extra 10-22 in my safe that was unclaimed. Still time to add an M&P when I get the funds.

Don't underestimate the Crickett's accuracy potential.

I had some 9-year-old girls at Appleseed armed with 'em embarrass a whole class. One of 'em cleaned Stage 4 of the AQT.

Only question I'd have for the rifle shown in the OP is, what's the overall weight? [ETA: Never mind, saw it above -- 4.7 pounds. Nice.] One of the real beauties of these shorty rifles is that they weigh next to nothing, making them not only solid trainers but legitimate bug-out survival rifles.

Just get a Smith and Wesson M&P 15/22. Great little AR style rifle. I've got thousands of rounds thru it with no issues.

My grandkids love theirs. My 11 year old granddaughter thinks hers is the coolest gun on the range.



My 9 year old grandson thinks his is best.
