    These shoot pretty good but do have initial teething pains or at least mine
    did. Had to replace rear sight--wouldn't stay in place. Had to use TALLEST
    FS post because it shot really high. Polishing up the innards seems to help.
    I've only used about four types of bulk ammo-- all HV,won't bother with
    Standard velocity,got a few failures to fire in a few hundred. Because the slide
    is alloy---very light-- you can safely get clean trigger pull to 2lbs safely! Remove
    the mag disconnect. Not really bad for price YMMV Replaced rear sight with a
    Dawson---it stays n place!

      I have the 5" 1911 version, and love it! Great shooters, so much fun and at a great price. Glad yours is working out well!
