    Buckmark dry fired once?

Hey guys just recently picked up my buckmark, took it home and my old man took a look at it and dry fired it (lowkey pissed) because I know these can't be dry fired. Is the firing pin done with one dry fire?

Take a look at it as well as the breech face.

It prolly broke. I give you 5dolla for it.

Fwiw I bought my buckmark rifle used (tho it was listed as unfired). It has a nice groove above the chamber where the fp has contacted it several times. Still works perfectly & is deadly accurate.

Mine has been dry fired many times, not on purpose, just happened. The breech face does have a ding it it. The gun still goes bang.

If one dry fire broke your gun, you got a lemon.

That's good to hear. Hopefully there isn't any damage. Thank you

                        You'll be fine.

I have a Browning Buckmark that I've fired many rounds with; in trying different types of ammunition some have failed to cause the slide to lock back (it was one of the CCI types). Anyway, I dry-fired it a few times since I thought there was a round in the chamber. It's still accurate as **** and shows no signs of slowing down

I stuck a small plastic sheet rock anchor in the chamber of my Model 41, after trimming the anchor to the length of a .22 LR...It works perfectly for dry fire practice. When it starts to wear, I toss it and chamber a new one.

I've dry-fired all of my rimfire guns a few times - I'm just don't make it a habbit.
