    PRO MAG Magazine for Buckmark

    Hello gentlemen,

Recently purchased the Browning Buckmark .22 Contour. The firearm comes with one magazine and therefore need to purchase more. The Pro Mag brand seem to be a little less expensive. Not much less but when you're buying about 4 additional magazines, the savings may add up.

Wanted to see if any of our co-Cal Gun members have had experience with the Pro Mag brand for the Buckmark? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I have three Buck Marks, and run all Browning magazines. My oldest was bought new in 1985, mags are still working fine, I just clean them now and then.

Avoid the ProMags. Saving a few dollars isn't worth the hassle. Tried one once. Tossed it in the trash and stuck with the originals since.

I still find it amazing pro mag is even still in business.
I rarely will ever tell a guy to spend more money.
But pro mag gets a NO vote on anything and everything.
        It's a no brainer.
I have with luck stumbled upon factory buck marks mags for a low as $18 at times , but normally about $22 seems to be the last price I recall.

          What WMG wrote...

Snowball's chance in hell I'd purchase a pro mag for anything. For a Buckmark, I'd go with oem mags or nothing.

How much for Pro Mag magazine ? Browning mag for Buckmark $24 at Opticsplanet . If Pro Mag just couple buck less then get the Browning.

I would literally rather load each round into the chamber by hand then buy another promag. I've tried 3 for different guns of mine, and several others friends have purchased for various weapons trying to save a buck. NOT ONE worked consistently. I'm all for affordable alternatives.... but the mags are the definition of crap.
