    Ruger 10/22 sighting issue

I have had an issue with a light weight 10/22 I put together. I am shooting about 6 inches high at 25 yards. I have a factory 18" barrel off from the early 90s on a new receiver (50th anniversary). I have on a NDS 26 rear sight and techsight front. My stock is a standard ruger synthetic with barrel band. The issue I have is my front sight is barely hanging on to the front sight and it is still shooting 6 inches high at 25 yards. Regardless if I use the tallest front sight post i will still be shooting high by about 4.5 inches.
Had anyone experienced any issues with nodak rear sights with techsight front sights?
Could the barrel band be the issue with the stock barrel channel?
Or maybe could it be the old style barrel on a newer receiver?

Thanks for any advice or insight

I think you need to use the Nodak front sight with the rear.

I was told by both manufacturers that they would be fine. Might have to make some calls again

The product description states to use their front sight and vice versa.

Just looking at the rear, it's at least 1/4" higher than the stock sight.

True. This is very, very, very serious material. So sorry.
