I have parents out of state and I might finally ask for an off roster pistol for my birthday, Sidewinder looks too cool.

I've got the .22lr version. Could not hit the target at 15 yards, so I could not put it on my CCW.

I love shooting mine, I picked up the boot grips NAA offers and it improved my grip greatly. I carry it pretty much all the time when I'm home.

These take some practice to hit at 25 yards. Getting the site set centered is the secret. Some ammo will keyhole like Aguila 60 grain Super Snipers.

I have only used mine close in at 5-7 yards. Luckily here you can use whatever you want on your ccw.

I enjoy watching Hickock45 going for the gong with his magnum.

That would be really embarrassing to be a bad guy that got shot by an NAA mini-revolver from 25 yards
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

There have been a number of people who shot themselves while using these revolvers as a self defense tool......

                Better than nothing... yes.....

But I'd rather have a seecamp and have 32 acp than a tiny revolver, no trigger guard and .22

I had a NAA Mini Revolver with 22LR and 22MAG cylinders.

Shooting the 22MAG, the gun would jump out of my hand.

Was more of a novelty... Can't remember when I sold it, I haven't really missed it.

Had one, a mere toy, a sharp #2 pencil in the ear would work as good...

                        sold it...

Then had a friend selling one and bought another one...don't know what possessed me to buy yet another...but better then no gun at all...but not by much!

Of course anyone can shoot themselves with any gun through carelessness. Last month someone bought a new Glock and holster at the Scheels here, took it to their car in the parking lot, loaded it and shot themselves in the leg trying to holster it in the car. We all hear the stories of cops and other experienced shooters who accidentally discharge their pistols. A Glock's safety is not to pull the trigger. A single action's safety is don't cock it and don't pull the trigger.

I picked up a 22short NAA mini a long time ago.
                            It's stamped Newbury Park, Ca.
I guess that means it was made in 1976-1977.

I would like to see the Newbury Park version during their transfer from Freedom Arms to North American Arms.
I think those early ones didn't have the safety notch between the chambers.

I checked it out earlier today.
There is what appears to be a quarter cock ?? that moves the hammer back enough so it's not sitting on the rim of the cartridge.
End result is safe, full five rounds.
