I shot cgn member defcon's XT-22 (not sure what model as it was moded into one of his creations) Worked great. Light trigger. Takes Marlin 795 magazines. I've wanted one but haven't gotten around to it.

Sure there are better 22LR bolt action rifles out there but you are probably correct that this is one of the best bang for the bucks at the $200 range.

That would be great if it was significatly better than a $150 22LR rifle.

Let us know how good it does. I may have to buy one. I am looking for the most accurate 22LR rifle for around $300.

I own one, we'll worth the investment in my eyes, the only thing that I didnt like about was the plastic molded sling swivel. I ended using a Dremel to remove it and drilled and added a metal one that I had laying around. This helped with installing as bipod on it. Congrats by the way!

                That's a good lookin rig!

                Few questions for ya:

What kind of accuracy are you getting?
What ammo does your rifle seem to like?
What brand & height rings did you go with?

                Thanks

Yup, I got one...put a Boyd stock on it, real fun to shoot. I also bought the youth version with 16in barrel...short LOP..so I put the VR stock on it and thats a blast to shoot too!

Honestly only been shooting federal auto match out of it, have not had any issue yet, I use this set up as a plinker, never had tested on paper only to sight it in, but was hitting 3 inch targets at 100 yards with regularity. I have a BSA sweet 22 on it at the moment. but have a Nikon Prostaff rimfire with low profile 1 inch weaver rings somewhere around here The ones on right now are utg 1 inch rings.
