    Created a S&W 22A Slide Racker

So I got a 22A several years ago, and I saw a nice slide racker on a buck mark. I loved the idea because of the big site on the pistol, but it didn't really appear that there was a product and the only thing I found was a gentleman on ebay that would drill and tap your slide if you sent it to him.

Anyhow fast forward to learning some 3D modeling and 3D Printing and I came up with this. Its friction fit and so far that seems adequate, though if that looses I think a little clear RTV under it will hold it nicely without harming the finish.

Looks like some nice creativity to me. Could you print one with the grab tab on both the left and right side, kind of like an AR-15 charging handle? One of my favorite handguns to shoot is my S&W 22A.

Have you tried it? That thing is going to go backward and forward with some force on every shot. Does it interfere with cycling?

      Pretty cool though.

Doesn't seem to hurt cycling, This is my 3rd iteration, I started with ABS as the material thinking it would be better, but its unfortunately just too flexible and it popped off durring cycling or if pulled hard. Its possible this final disign would work in ABS as well, the rear rib feature should stiffen it up, but I went to PLA and its very much staying where I put it.

As to both sides.....I could do it given a bit of time. I'm right handed, and I wasn't a fan of having to cross my body (or at least that feeling) to rack it.

huh.....turns out not much time, I think it added a small angle where the smooth loft got cut in half, but in print it probably won't even be visible. The real question is it it too wide for the hands or doesit need some more material taken out.

              That's really ingenious.
