Hey, good to see you posting again, I thought you might have gone underground or off the grid.

After building the FN2000/Marlin 60 and the Steyr AUG/Marlin 795 I laid off the .22 conversions. Ended up saving up and buying the IWI Tavor. Went to Utah for two weeks and guess which rifles I took with me... of course the Tavor and... the FN2000/Marlin 60. The FN2000 in .22LR is still one of my favorite guns to shoot.

hehe my 2 kids have been taking up my time. as they get older, im getting more free time to do some projects since they can play on their own or fight with each other.

i still need to do the FN2000 and AUG. also i looked up the Mossberg Plinkster and its cheaper than using Marlin 795's.

I found this gem about using aluminum brazing/soldering so im getting all these new ideas on buying a bunch of aluminum and cutting different shapes to build a chassis

I had a similar experience with my STG-44 Replica (also in .22).

After I showed them it was a .22 - they said "OK" and walked away.

i dont typically bring these to the range since theyre really heavy to carry

i sometimes bring it out maybe every 4-5 months

but the lighter ones i usually bring 3-4 with me

The RSO should be used to you by now. Your face is probably posted in the office with a note: "This guy brings cool toys."
