    Buckmark

    Hi Guys,

I have a Cal Compliant Buckmark Plus UDX Rosewood, with factory adjustable sights. Anybody know the Browning part number, or a place I can buy a new factory picatinny rail with the factory adjustable sights built in? Just like the picture attached.

I would have bought it with this type of sight/rail combo, but it's not available in CA.

    Any leads?

I don't like the Tac-Sol version. I prefer the factory design, with the taper at the front barrel.

Want to mount a cheap reflex sight, like the one Browning sells, and be able to pull it off if it fails in a match.

    Thanks!

I would call the factory - they helped me upgrade Buckmark Camper to Hunter. They had a list of necessary parts and I ordered them over the phone. One of the pins was missing and they sent it to me free when I called them. Overall it was a great experience.

Buckmark UDX Rosewood is accurate, with bulk rounds

I could not find the part I needed on Midwest Gun Works. I knew this part would be hard to find, even if not in stock.

I will have to call Browning. It will cost a bundle, but it's my fantasy .22 autoloader, CA compliant. I like Browning's product, but there are many other options that we don't have in CA. No Ruger, no Walther (except plastic). No other competition.

Had feeding trouble on the new Buckmark tonight. It's new and tight.

I really like the concept of a Smith & Wesson 10 shot revolver with speed clips. Never have a misfeed. Just have a bag of rounds on your belt. And a row of speed clips.

Testy gun. Just need to break it in. Polish and clean the mechanics. High hopes for a reliable plinker and potential competition piece. Heavy and accurate.

Might want to get a lighter, shorter barreled .22 for plinking. Maybe a Buckmark Light, or modify with Tac-Sol / Volquartsen parts.

          Hmmm.

I just purchased this gun. It is in jail right now. Thanks for all the information because I love tweaking my guns and making these types of additions.

OP, if you have good taste in getting that nice and expensive factory rail, why put a lousy reflex sight on it? Cheap sights' dots are lousy it sits very high. I would recommend you get a Burris FF III 3 MOA or a Holosun 5xx series. Trust me, the extra $$ is well worth it.
