Just got with a simple red dot or super sniper scope. Go ACOG and then you can put it on other guns

I've owned 4x .22 scopes. Save your money for a quality 1" tube variable power scope. It will be worth saving for. Enjoy.

Give us a budget that always helps. Explain what type of shooting your intending to do.

I'm running this on my 10/22. No need for a spotting scope...

Budget is kinda up in the air lol, I am debating getting a red dot / magnifier just so I can do close and longer ranges.

Range I would prefer would be at most 100 yards. At least 25 yards. I can get fairly good groups with irons at 25 yards but cannot see the front iron clear enough. This would be a shooting while standing or leaning on a bench, but not a bench gun.

Given those specs, maybe you can use what I use... Weaver K4. Clear glass, tough, stupid simple, not terribly expensive.

I wouldn't use it for precision shooting but you'd be hard put to find a better field scope. Mine is on a CZ.

Weaver 1x3 is a great scope. I have two for my .22's

I use a couple of Simmons 4x on my Nylon 66 and Marlin 60, a Barska Plinker 4x on my Henry h001.
Cost around $50-60 bucks a pop and work fine.
