Gunsmither's Bedbutton and Bedblock on Ruger 10/22

Does anyone here have a Ruger 10/22 with a Gunsmither's Bedblock and/or Bedbutton installed? I'm thinking of overhauling my 10/22 with among other things, these. What can you tell me about these things from Gunsmither?

I don't use either, but have made my own version of the bedbutton.

Some don't like the Gunsmither's Bedblock, because if you ever change or remove your barrel in the future, you'll likely need to re-bed due to any slight change in position when it's reinstalled. However, a lot of people swear by the Gunsmither's Block, which isn't used to bed the action, but to eliminated barrel droop.

The Bedbutton is used to allow free floating of the barrel, eliminating the need to add a small bedding pad in front of the receiver tang to support the barrel or a rear rear anchor to the receiver to eliminate teeter-tottering of the receiver. DIY variations include using a cap/wood screw tapped into the receiver, or in my case, a shaped carriage bolt, bedding into the rear of the stock.

I did the latter on my 10/22, but first included the pad in front, but later removing it to fully float to test both configurations:
