One just sold on here:
Ruger Mark II Stainless Government Target; but, I think it was a competition and slab sided, he got around 900.
That's a high price, but that was a seriously great gun.

I personally don't know why it's so....but that gun will fetch $750 pretty quickly and $850 if you wait for the right person to come by. MKIIs are in demand in Cali. I'm not knocking MKIIs, theyre great plinkers...its just that they were $300 guns when they came out..and for $850 one could find a nice used Model 41. Good luck with your sale.Comment

The MKIV are out now so the MKII are mostly nostalgic (and no extra weird stuff like LCI). I think your Govt Target MKII will sell for $800 easily, $900 if there are extra magazines and ammo. It's just the demand in California.
Out of state, that MKII will sell for $450 - $600, because it is a Govt Target (GB Link). I was going to buy one about ten years ago, they wanted $700 w/ RDS optics mounted, six magazines, and 1000 rounds of ammo. I don't know why I passed on that deal.
I have a SS Competition Slabside MKII that I picked up 2-3 years ago for $600. Only a scribbly scratch on the barrel but otherwise pristine.I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.
