Post up some picks. Unless it is a black apache with nickel plating and 99% I would not say $900. If the average nylon 66 then 2-$350 defending on condition.

If the $900 was an offer, take the money and run! A 100% gun blue books at $400. Even the obscure versions dont hit the 900 mark.

I recently saw a like-new Nylon 66 on the used rack in a LGS at $250.

There are Nylon variations that can go $900 or more but a standard brown 66 is more like $200-350.

I agree with the $250 figure. Here's a link to my previous post about these great little rifles

                Maybe a 10 or a 76, but not so much a 66.

My first gun was a Black Nylon 66. I still have it. It's about 1960 vintage.

A 66 gallery special would fetch that.

I haven't seen many in any condition. Only had a chance 1x to buy one locally.

A regular brown Nylon 66 is worth about $350 if real nice---the price can vary widely in different parts of the country---I've seen 'em as high as $600---the rarer models are more, especially to collectors…
I traded an old pocket knife for my first used Nylon 66...

The Nylon 66 in Apache brown was the first rifle I shot. I was 7 and could barely hold the rifle steady, with pops squatting next to me supporting the rifle and my arms.
I have history with the rifle and would easily give 200-450 for a near mint in any color. On this side of the country 200 seems to be he norm for a C grade,
                            200-300for b 300- 350 A
                            collectors grade 400+
Never seen one new in box.

Several years ago there was one for sale on Gunbroker that was new unfired in box with all tags and stickers still on the gun. I can't rememebr what it went for, but it wasn't cheap. I think it was around $800.
