    Ruger MKll Facelift

    Last month CDNN had a sale on mags for the above MKII.
    I picked up a few as well as a new set of brown coco wood grips.
    They feel slick compared to the original black plastic diamond grips installed.
    I'll need to take a test drive before knowing if they're good for target work!
    Here's a before and after.

      New grip day is always great. I have the same model MkIII and I installed these fake Ivory grips myself. I get a good number of comments on the range with it now.

                                      Nice looking Mark.

                                      Mark III mags work fine in a Mark II. Mark II mags will not work in a Mark III.

                                      Marks are a hoot to shoot. Mine will all shoot any HV or SV rounds I've tried.

                                                  But my old stainless MkII I've had since I was a kid has so many memories I'm not motivated to dump it. the MkI, however...

                                                          It's plastic, but works so much better than the stock mag release.
