    Erma werke m1.22 feeding issues

Hello I have a German Erma Werke Mod.e m1.22 and it won't shoot a full mag without jaming.T first I though it was the hollow points but I have tried round nose from 2-3 brands and it still jamed. I took it in to the gun store and they cleaned it and fired it and said it was good. I took it out to shot and it jamed after 2shots I pulled the Jamed round out and it feed the rest fine but the next mag jamed right away. I'm thinking it's the mag spring and I ordered a new mag but haven't received it I was just wondering if anyone has excperinced this?

First thing you do is give it a thorough cleaning. The Erma Carbine is one of those .22 rifles that has to be clean, or it won't function. If your skill set is not above average, do not attempt to take apart the trigger assembly for cleaning. Hose it out with BrakeKleen, blow it out, and lightly oil it.
Erma made an early and late version of these, and I've run across a couple of both that had rough surfaces on the bolt where it rides in the receiver. That caused random feeding issues that cleared up with a little stone work. You'll know if you have one of those looking at the bolt when you have it out.
