CMP filling my 22LR ammo backorder from 2013

I've bought some nice mil surplus rifles and ammo from CMP over the years but missed the boat on a case of 22LR before the panic. Got an email yesterday that I could receive a case of Federal Subsonic for 6.6 c/rnd delivered or 9.9 c/rnd for MiniMags. I wonder if Trump's victory has changed the hording/flipping market? When I see bulk packs routinely stacked on the shelves at WallyWord again I'll know the tide has finally turned.

Unless the ammo law gets an injunction or repealed, we can forget about walmart. Word on the street is they will not want to deal with the regs and will quit selling ammo all together. It's not just going to be tough to get 22lr anymore, it'll be everything if this darn law survives. However, it's nice to see 22lr popping up in stock everywhere on a regular basis. I suspect much of the panic has died down, other than here in CA where our almighty leaders think we are all stupid and require to be led along like good little sheeple. Buy now and be able to shoot like you want later.

Happiness is free shipping, no tax, delivered to my front door, 40 g 1070 fps subsonic for 6.6 c/rnd, thanks CMP If I pace myself at 2 boxes / week this is almost a year's supply.

Better happiness is taking some out to range and shooting it in my new rimfire upper - good reliability and accuracy I've found that a metalized dot for a target gives a great image with the crosshairs on it

That's a Nordic Components dedicated 22LR upper, $499. I did swap out the original A2 birdcage flash hider for a Miculek muzzle brake just for looks.

Nordic Components' 22RB Dedicated 22 Upper converts your AR15-pattern rifle into a dedicated 22 rimfire just by changing upper receivers.
