    CMMG Conversion Mags LOOSE

Just got my CMMG 22lr conversion in, and although I did not fire yet, all 4 magazines that came with the set are loose as all get out in the magazine well.. I tried them in 4 different lowers with the same results.

    Is this normal?

When I say LOOSE, I mean, hot dog down a hallway loose... the mag is locked in and can't be pulled out, but wobbles like hell

    Yup, normal.

This is why they say don't use the mag as a bipod, causes misfeeds.

Easy fix, if they are really loose, get some Velcro Tape, use the Fuzzy side and cut it into small 1"-2" pieces, place it on the sides of the magazine to take up the gap between the Mag and the mag well... it will also quiet it down.....
I've had my CMMG .22lr upper for about 5 years now and it's been excellent, very accurate and never had a jam or misfire, works perfectly, bought it at the Del Mar gun show but it only came with 1 mag, bought other mags at the gun show, mine were tight on the ends, but loose widthwise, a small piece of Velcro on either side tightend it up.
