Considering a TacSol X-Ring Rifle with Vantage RS Stock

While not inexpensive, I have seen the above rifles online and on youtube only a bit. I am interested in opinions and feedback on how they shoot, their build quality etc. As they are a lot more than your average Ruger 10/22 it appears to be an investment in a top-notch rifle that will perform well and last a lifetime. As I have grown older I have found I really enjoy a top quality rifle or pistol rather than the more mainstream so long as performance matches, is this such a rifle?

    Thank you for your feedback!

    10/22 customization...

I have had a lot of fun over the last bunch of years playing with the 10/22's and all of the aftermarket accessories available for it. TACSOL has a bunch of barrels and other parts for the 10/22 available that can make any 10/22 standard rifle sing! Easy to install and fun to make it your own. Many companies out there that have great accessories as well. Probably alot cheaper than a full blown custom Tacsol in the end. Check out RIMFIRECENTRAL.COM for lots of great rifles and links to barrels, triggers etc...

i was looking at the TS Xrings this morning and they look like nice rifles. after reading a few reviews it seems more guys lean toward the Kidd rifles. i want to build a 10/22 myself but still unsure which one...my buddy has a Kidd receiver and bolt with a fedderson barrel im just waiting for him to shoot it and see how it preforms before i decide.

Diff types and purposes. You will find it hard to come up with a prettier and lighter 22 than the x-ring. I have one and it's just about my favorite. I will admit that my buddies Kidd is more accurate and the finish is awesome it also weighs twice as much.

Wow, some great input. Thank you all. Please don't stop here, share more about 22LR's. After some thought about Volquartsens I ended up ordering the TacSol X-Ring and am waiting for it to arrive at my LGS for pickup and payment. I can honestly say that not since my LBC TRS 1.5 SGG have I looked forward to picking up a new toy. I would love to find a 22/45 Lite (I have the standard Target) or a TacSol 22/45 but...going to have to shop Calguns a long time for that I guess.

They all seem to have good parts. Volquartsen also makes some awesome stuff (if you have not seen them yet). https://www.volquartsen.com/. Good luck with your build.

We have 2 of them and would easily buy a third...
Cleaning and maintenance is so well thought out

Both shoot 1 ragged hole at 50 yards (or 1/2 to 1 MOA at 100 no wind)
One loves Blazer the other love CCI AR

              Fun, light weight, great colors
