Who else remembers the CCI Ammo can?

Was cleaning up/sorting my stored ammo and ran across my last 3 CCI "Ammo" cans. I thought they were really cool at the time and I think they still are.

They would've been better if they had been linked on a belt, like ammo cans should be, and somehow worked in a Ruger 10-22, with the shells and the links dropping out the bottom of the magazine well.

I think Exile Machine could probably figure something like that out.

Same package exactly. Didn't know Federal had a version.

Never seen one of them before. I got a couple of those vacuum packed Federal cans I got during a lull in the panic as a souvenir

Yep. CCI eclipsed themselves. A plastic box with a poster board covering. Cool.

I remember a smaller one that could clip on your belt. Maybe 250 rounds?

Never seen one of those. The only ones I've seen are the newer version with the cabelas style ammo can with 1400 rounds. How old is that one?

the .22 ones must be ~20 years old if I remember right.

Not really surprising, since CCI and Federal are both owned by Vista Outdoors, the sporting division spinoff of ATK.

                      Lots of other brands, too.
