    S&W 41 magazine trigger disengage

    I am the proud owner of a S&W 41 performance center. I have seen many "reliability" issues mentioned here. Mine has run flawlessly... until I purchased some extra magazines. The replacement mags are "genuine" S&W mags and I can't see ANY difference between them and the mags that came with the gun. HOWEVER, none of them work. They appear to seat but do not override the trigger disengage.

    The trigger will engage when the orig mags are used and seated; it will NOT engage when any of the apparently identical factory mags are seated.

    Any ideas or similar experiences?

      There was a whole production lot of those that had problems, I had to have them replaced, S&W acknowledged the problem and shipped without any issues...
      TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
      The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
      Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
      Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
      The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
      The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
      The best lack all conviction, while the worst
      Are full of passionate intensity.
