Anybody know if this is on the banned list after the years up? Do I have to rush out and grab one or can I wait? Also does it require a bullet button or to be featureless?

Rimfire rifles fall under separate laws that haven't changed. AFAIK, the only thing you need to be concerned about are 10-rd magazines.

And minimum length requirements.

minimum barrel length = 16"
minimum overall length = 26"

Overall length is measured with the firearm in the shortest possible firing configuration (stock folded/collapsed).
