    Mag Capacity Limit for Rimfire

    Hey Calgunners,

Is there a mag capacity limit on rimfire rifles? I know 10 shots is the CA law. But I thought I saw an ad somewhere for a 10/22 with 25 round mag.

    Just double checking....

TUBE-FED does not have a magazine limit. Marlin 60 holds at least 14 or 15 rounds in the tube with some older ones even more.

AFAIK, one is limited to 10 rounds with a detachable .22lr magazine.

The ten round limit is for box magazines only(i.e. replaceable), while fixed tube magazine aren't.

*Which is fine my me...................never like having to reload/carry a box .22rf magazine.
With tube mags, their always on the gun so no loosing them.
With the three tube fed rifles I have, got anywhere from fourteen to over twenty reloads, depending on which gun I'm shooting. Which probably would be my Henry h001.

Is it best to sell a calico 22 lr with 50 round box mag detachable? I just remember my buddy has one from 25 years ago.
