.22lr with folding and adjustable stocks legal in CA?

I'm wondering if the "tactical" .22 rifles with adjustable and/or folding stocks are legal in CA? I looked at the Sig Sauer 522 with a folding stock and the website said that it was not CA compliant. Is it the folding stock that makes it illegal? Thanks for any info the laws are confusing to me.

Maybe the website only had that model with a mag that hold over 10 rounds.

If it can be fired when it is less than 26" (even if the stock is folded), it's a SBR under CA law but not Federal law. Otherwise, they just don't understand CA law and are playing it safe.

Okay it looks like maybe it has more to do with magazine capacity. Thanks, guys!

the current rifle flowchart does not deal with rimfire rifles one bit.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
