    Sig Mosquito Problems

I have had my sig mosquito for over a year now and have had many problems like so many others. I finally solved my and I would like to pass on some information.
The problems turned out to be me.
    1. Using general terminology for my problem "jamming" led me to sites suggesting polishing the load ramp and filing the ridge between ramp and chamber. I did both no help.
    2. Later I realized my gun was not "jamming" the slide was locking back while there was still ammo in the mag. This led me to sites suggesting sanding the slide lock lever and some checks of the magazine. One site suggested I was pushing the slide lock up. Of course I discounted this idea.
    3. While trying to resolve my problems I was dry firing with blanks and I noticed something. I was in fact pushing the slide lock up. My real problem turned out to be I am Left Handed. This puts my trigger finger extremely close to the slide lock and when I don't pull the trigger just right the trigger finger flexes like your bicep muscle and actually pushes the slide lock up.
    4. since I found this I have used all sorts of cheap high velocity ammo and have not had another problem.
    5. I don't know if polishing the ramp avoided a problem before it happened because I did that before I realized that jamming was not my problem.
Bottom line if you are left handed check this out it may be your problem also.
Totally happy with this gun now. Just returned from the range ran 300 rounds of Freedom Munitions 34G high velocity through the gun not one problem.
