    new older Anschutz-Savage

Recently picked up an older Anschutz 64 model 1403. Last year a friend asked me if I wanted to shoot 3 position smallbore in the Police/Fire Games. Kneeling was the hardest for me. I need to get a set of front apertures, the 4.3mm it has is way to big for an official 50yd target. I had some Aguila Standard I had ordered through the CMP and was impressed with it. I'll get some other SK and Eley to try out.

      Nice.

Looks like it's a shooter!! I assume you know about Champion's Choice, they will have the apertures, among other places too. IIRC, the FS is a 6522 and should have had a 2.2 to 4mm selection of inserts. Maybe you can measure the one you have and see what size you need. I might even have a few in my Anschutz box, I will take a look.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Yes, I ordered the set from them. It currently has the stamped steel 4.3mm aperture but no others came with it. I was talking to a friend and he uses 3.8mm clear aperture, but says get the set to figure which works best.
