Savage combo package

I heard that the MK II combo comes with bushnell 3-9x40 scope. Anyone has experience with the combo/scope?

If this is a ok scope, seems like paying little extra worth it.

I got that same scope with my 93R17 at Dick's. It's a decent scope, nothing special. It'll do until I'm ready to pony out some cash for something better.

I just bought this package. So did my brother. We zeroed his in about 10 minutes, less than 30 rounds... holds fine. Nice accuacy for 22lr (penny size groups at 25 yards). It will do for you unless you want to compete with it, it'll be a great plinker with that glass.

One thing to note is that it is not an easily adjustable focus. If you need that you'll have to replace it anyway.
