Need help with foregrip and RDS/scope for ar15-22

Just jailed a S&W ar15-22. I am new to rifles, this is my first one. Can someone recommend a decent scope or RDS, and also a good foregrip for this rifle? I am considering buying a regular ar15 before end of this year, so anything transferable is preferred. Don't mind paying a good amount as long as it is a good product and a great value. Thanks

Not sure what your budget is but Primary Arms and Vortex are decent red dot scopes. If you are looking at magnified optics, Cabelas branded rimfire scopes are decent.

For a foregrip, I bought 2 KAC from eBay. There are lots of fakes out there
    so just be careful.

Also the AR triggers will fit in the 15-22, just in case you want to test one out in this rifle.

Anyways, congrats on your new rifle.

15-22 with RDS is a lot of fun. More than with scope IMO anyway. I use TRS-25, it is cheap but good enough for .22. Also would recommend a separate optic for your to be new AR so you don't have to re-zero it going back and forth.

If you have a $50 budget, the Leapers UTG is top of the airsoft **** pile. It won't break in the first few uses with 22lr.

Bushnell TRS-25 is a great option for under $80, and will last a hell of a lot longer and has a good warranty.

Cabelas has a great budget options with their in house brand for $120-$150 when they aren't sold out- otherwise expect to pay $180-$250 for the Primary Arms or Vortex brand red dot or $250-$350 for a prism scope.

Avoid Sightmark and TruGlo- personal opinion and bad experiences.
