WASR-22s can be hit or miss.
Some are jam-o-matics and need some fiddling with, polishing, etc. to work right.
Mine had major issues with the factory mags and original AKT mags, since bought aftermarket extractor sets, firing pins, and BDM mags. Haven't tried it since.

I must have gotten the hit model as mine has not had any issues whatsoever. All ammo I've fed it has not been a problem.

That's why I kept putting the purchase off. I was afraid of getting a dud. Instead, I have nothing.

I have one and it fails to feed a lot. I tried different ammo and had no luck. The shell casings also get trapped inside the dust cover. So I guess I got a semi dud.

I wanted to get one but was put off by the bad reviews.
