I bought one about 5 years ago & have had a fun time plinking with it. I shoot mostly cci's out of it because I had some fell to feed problems with a couple other brands. I never tried the scope I up graded to a better one before shooting it. All in all not a bad rifle for the money & shoots accurate.

The scope it comes with is a $5 piece of junk. For that price, I'd say spend a little more and get a 10/22.

I bought one at Big 5 a few years ago. I got a discount because it was missing the scope. I put a cheap Barska on it.

It is a pretty accurate little gun, but a bit finicky on ammo. Mine will run all day on CCI or Federal blue box bulk, but chokes on Rem Goldens and Federal Automatch.

I had one that I bought new at Big 5. Scope is junk, and needs to be replaced. The trigger is pretty bad, but can be improved somewhat with the McCarbo spring set. I took it hunting a few times, and remember two things - it has acceptable accuracy if you can adjust to the trigger, and the damn magazine really digs into your back when you carry it slung over your shoulder.

I ended up selling mine to buy a used Remington 597 for $100. It is a better rifle.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!
