I have a Heritage Rough Rider. I was cleaning last night and noticed some stuff crusted on the inside of the forcing cone. It's pretty solid and hard to remove. How do I remove it? 22LR is mostly lead or plated lead. Will it eventually cause blockage?

I use medium grade bronze wool strands wrapped around a well used bore brush, pulls any leading and crud right out, no solvent needed. Works wonders on the big bore leading in the barrel and forcing cones, even better than my Lewis lead remover.
