Ruger 10-22 takedown bull barell model 21133 (pics inside) found one.

Anyone has this model 21133 ruger 10-22 takedown bull barell? I am interested in picking one today. My LgS is selling it for $480.00 just for me. Any input or how it handles .Thanks!!

Ive been looking at takedown lites too, has a threaded 1/2x28 threads with a thread protector screwed on (shtf suppressor ) They come in different colors which is cool. I really like the green one. No sights, so you basically have to run the rail ruger provides and add an optic. There was a big article on one they tested in the latest firearm news magazine. All positive things to say (not sure if its a paid advertisement from ruger though)

I was wondering too how the takedowns function in general.

Well, i could not wait and just bought one yesterday from a LGS here in sacramento. I got it For $480.00. Its the ruger 10/22 takedown target barell model 21133. I will be waiting for 10 more days and well see how it performs. I am thinking of vortex scope to put on it.

Ah ok. They make a "lite" that is basically the same.

Let us know. I've had my eyes on those. Post some pics once you get it.

Is that the stock Ruger take down bag? I could not get mine to fit in there with the scope on it.

Yes its stock. I wanted to mount my scope super low. Ended up not using the higher cheek comb after. Takes a bit of Tetris skill to get everything to fit in the bag but in the end I even got the bipod to fit. I'll take a picture of the bag placement in a moment.

I have a standard Takedown, seems to work fairly well. I need to put some Tech Sights on it. I really wish someone made a Mannlicher stock that'd fit it for a reasonable price...

This is its current configuration. I was able to fit it all.

I have a standard take down model and picked up a tacsolutions hogue stock and bull barrel upgrade for the take down. I like the hogue stock a lot better than the standard takedown stock. that bull barrel takedown you have looks nice plus since it seems to come from ruger it fits in the bag. since upgrading my stock mine won't fit in the standard bag.

Thats cool the inside of my Ruger bag purchased over a year ago is way different then yours. I have to detach the scope to make it all fit. I went ahead and had a nice custom Pelican designed for it (in take down mode) but wish the bag was set up differently inside.
