    S&W Victory 22lr

I'm curious to know if anyone on the forum has one. If so, how do you like it?
    Positives/negatives?
    Thanks

one of my LEO friends has one and its really nice. Better than a Ruger IMHO.

I've been searching high and low- no one in CA seems to want to sell theirs- thats a big vote of confidence in the gun, and a serious roadblock to non-exempt people trying to find one.

I ended up buying a s&w22a - its half cousin predecessor.

        American Riflemen

Watched a segment on the new S&W Victory .22lr last night on the Outdoor Channel. They (like always) gave it a very favorable review. One screw for complete take down was a very nice feature. I look forward to shooting one some day.

        meanrock,

You won't be disappointed in the 22-a. The wife LOVES hers. She's been using it for Steel Challenge the entire year and has no plans to upgrade (yet).
The Bushnell TRS-25 RD is a great budget addition, if RD's are your thing.

        Regards,
        Mike

Thanks for the info, Very glad to hear the positive review. I'm already excited to pick it up from it's jail term. I have a buckmark URX that has needed a shooting partner, and I'm excited to see how they stack up.

If you are reading the same posts I did on the Smith & Wesson forums- the proposed solution is to clean the threads and degrease them, with rubbing alcohol or Lye.

Same thing can happen to buckmark take down screw on top rail. Blue Loctite also works well between cleaning sessions.
