Loading M&P 15-22 Mags? Sore fingers?

I bought a pair of long 10-round mags for my S&W M&P 15-22 and was sad to see they didn't have a button to pull the slide down to make loading easier. I went on Amazon and saw these things for $16 each: https://www.amazon.com/15-22-Magazin...GQXWW855ZDJRWB

But them I just made a loop out of some paracord and it works really well. I'm surprised I didn't see this tip on other sites or forums.

    Happy shooting!

If your fingers are sore you haven't done enough shooting!

Neat idea! Thanks. That will save my thumb and index finger (I alternate to spread the love - it sure does hurt after a while).

Nice idea! I bought this, which is a little cheaper than the Amazon item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-W-M-P-15-2.../222175900958?

You could also use a chopstick

Why wouldn't it be legal? It's just a piece of string.

Been using allen wrenches and punches for years. Works the same with the GSG 1911 mags too.

I use a plastic rod similar to delta9s' chopstick.

I usually use a screwdriver. But this does the trick as well. Thanks.

I dumped the long pseudo 30 round mags and acquired the short 10 round mags. MUCH easier to load and MUCH better for shooting. I have two of those long mags just sitting in my safe now.

Use these and never look back:
