If it's the same package as the one I have when they were first offered, there are two mags instead of one. There's a two day Appleseed ticket included which is a $60(?) value. Some people were looking for the LTR when they first came out but were all sold out.

ah, that's not bad then, these mags alone cost a bit, plus the sights and sling, not a bad value.

Also has some neat laser engraving, if that matters to you.

Somebody else asked me if the new LTR's had Appleseed coupons boxed with them -- the answer is, I'm not sure. That was a Marlin promotion that they might have ended. If it does come with the coupon, or you get hold of one, we'll honor it. It has no expiration date. But I can't be 100% sure just how they're shipping rifles these days.

You can easily make an equivalent rifle with aftermarket parts, but it is nice to see a rifle that doesn't need "fixing" right out of the box. Seriously, there aren't many.
