    10-22 build.

Always wanted to build a 10-22. My first gun was a 10-22. Still have it and it's in great condition. Did not want to alter it.

A couple of years ago, when Leland Yee was still a free man, (HAHAHA) I bought a plain jane standard 10-22.

Finally put it together exactly the way I wanted it. This was built simply to enjoy. Has no other purpose.

Bought a Hogue stock. Always liked them.

Burris Fastfire 3 after careful consideration.

    Ruger BX trigger group.

    Buffer technologies buffer.

    Volguartsen extractor.

    Beyer match lightweight bull barrel.
Tested it out 2 weeks ago. Am pleased with all my choices. Reliably fed and fired a variety of ammo including Federal Automatch which I have a large supply of. Looking forward to putting a lot of rounds through it.

Realize I'm probably a little later than most on this.

Recent convert to red dot sights. Did a lot of research before deciding on the Burris. Have the 3 MOA dot. There is an 8 MOA dot also.

The bigger dot is supposed to be better for fast shooting, smaller more precise. I like it. Don't like that it is battery dependent. No back up sights.

Plan on getting spare batteries. Looking forward to taking where I can do some plinking with it.

Look at the Mueller Eraticator. Lots of magnification on tap, micro red dot for precision shooting (dot is smaller than the bullet holes).
              It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.
