    Advice on next 22lr revolver

I got a ruger sp101 22lr. I would like another 22lr revolver. Which would be a good one to save up for. Thanks.

    S&W.

I got the Taurus 94. I put in reduced trigger springs, which everyone says you will get light primer strikes. However, I polished every part of the gun, so it works amazingly well. No light primer strikes. Works great. But I'd get the Smith if I had to do it again.

S&W 617 in the barrel length of your choice. I would go 6".

Ruger Convertible Six , a timeless classic, lots of options for sights, barrel length and finish.

I have a 617 in 4" I really like. Since you already have a swing out revolver, why not a sixgun like the Ruger Single Six? I have one made in 1964, a Convertible, and it just keeps going and going. Taurus, meh. Heritage, meh x 2. I have a Kimel, daddy to the Heritage, piece of pot metal junk.

Only 2 choices - double action Smith&Wesson - single action Ruger older than 5 years - Ruger quality sucks lately.

If you are considering looking on the used market I'm going to suggest looking for a top break revolver made by either Harrington and Richards (H&R) or Iver Johnson.
they have that cool Webley feel and automatic ejection of spent cases when you break the action open.
in most states they would be much less than a new pistol but even here in California you should be able to pick one up relatively cheaply.

They are accurate workhorses and something different.

If you're looking new only, I'd go with the Smith & Wesson since you already have a Ruger.

You already have a nice double action so now how about a single action one??
A single six or a bear cat would be nice! I really would like a stainless BearCat myself.............http://www.chuckhawks.com/ruger_super_bearcat.htm
