Picked up a CZ 455 American 22LR with threaded barrel

Bought a CZ 455 American 22LR Synthetic with threaded 16.5" barrel through PPT today. Can't wait to get her home and out to the range. Meanwhile I am shopping around for another magazine but also something to thread onto the barrel. I was considering getting a Tandem Kross Game Changer. What do you think?

Why do you need a compensator? Spend your money on some good ammo, shoot it and enjoy it.

you won't need the compensator... If anything it might hurt the stellar CZ accuracy. I have one which I installed the heavy barrel and bedded it into a Boyd stock and it groups wonderfully with Wolf MT and ME.

Just thought it would look a little more "Tacticool" since I can't actually put a suppressor on there. I'll definitely shoot it first but the 16.5" barrel looks a little short and that's why I was considering something to screw onto the tip of the rifle.

anything you add onto the barrel will change harmonics... it may shoot well with a thread protector and crap with something added to the barrel, it may change its prefered ammo, it may not do much at all... if anything just add a muzzle weight to make the rifle balance for you, but I would probably just keep the thread protector. If you want something "tacticool" get a .22 conversion kit for an AR or a dedicated 22lr ar.

Also, try wolf match target or sk standard / sk match (all made in the same factory). The only thing I found that comes close to the accuracy of these out of my cz is the cci subsonic 40 grain hollowpoints.
