    GP100 22lr now on roster

Wish it was a little cheaper. Almost same price as a S&W 617.

Actually around me the street price is about $100.00 cheaper than the S&W 617. It is also much more available, and built far more solidly.
If common sense was so common, why don't liberals possess any?

GP100 .22LR vs. S&W 617 . . . Has anyone shot both? If so, how do they compare?

Ouch!! Thought the SP101 in 22l was a bit overpriced at $545, but, just, wow!

Planning on buying one. Will be happy to test it side by side with my 617 as soon as one shows up for sale.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to hearing your assessment.

I went ahead and put an order in for one too. I was going to pick up a 617, but decided that in the end I'm more of a Ruger fan (and Canon when I'm shooting pictures - yes Nikon makes nice stuff too... )

I'm not understanding how some think the 617 is not overpriced, but the GP-100 is?
