Grab it. They're pretty rare. I loved all my Taurus revolvers and wished I didn't sell them (at least 4). Then buy my grip for sale.

I was looking at Taurus a few years back. All the reviews were not very positive. It has a coil mainspring that stacks badly on double action pull, and build quality seems to be a lingering issue. Also have read that their warranty service is awful. But hey, it's your money. I have a 4" Smith 617, love it, and a 1960's convertible Ruger Single Six that has had maybe a dozen Magnum rounds through it. Why the fascination with the Magnum, if you don't mind me asking? Not a terribly effective round in a handgun, a much better performer in a bolt action rifle, and not as accurate as the LR.

I had a model 94 (the 22lr cousin to the 941) with the 5 inch barrel and adjustable rear sight. For whatever reason, that sucker was extremely accurate, and would slightly out-shoot the Ruger SP101-22lr I also had at the time. The single action trigger was acceptable, but the double action was horrendous. Changing to lighter springs would only result in light strikes. I would imagine the 941 would be the same.
Taurus' reputation for quality has been very spotty, so buy with that in mind. My 94 had to go back to the factory for repairs after ~1100 rounds, as it sharted spraying fragments back at me at that point.

My 94 went to the factory twice or possibly 3 times.
Bought it "refurbished", was spitting lead like mad, had lead all caked up around the barrel after a grand total of 0 rounds.
Transfer bar broke in half after ~100 rounds and went back to the factory. Took 3 months to get it back because it "got stuck in their shipping department"

after having to pay for shipping, I was within $100 of the used rugers and having regrets. Don't buy it unless you can test fire. Or, you're willing to gamble on the warranty service.

Also, half the parts are unavailable except through their service department. They told my FFL they won't ship parts even to gunsmiths, so even if you wanted to fix it yourself, no-go.
