Remington Yellow Jackets

I have been feeding a picky gun Remington Yellow Jackets .22LR. Very happy gun until I ran out last year and I have not been able to find them anywhere? I bought other .22LR but it just jams up after the first one goes off.

Anyone know if Remington is going make more of these? Or are they just selling out fast still? What is the deal with this - I see it on every website as "out of stock." Been that way for at least a year.

Haven't seen them in a long time. Is spend time fixing the gun.

I am not sure why it does not like other ammo. It is a very old handgun gun from WWII. It likes the shape of the tip of the Yellow Jackets is my guess. So am I not sure if a gun smith could help or not?

The yellowjackets have a truncated bullet and are faster than most 22 rounds like the velocitor or others like that.
I am down to my last 1500 rounds and have been looking for a couple years now.
I am shooting them out of a Remington 541 and it absolutely loves them.
I have all the various cheap ammo all the way up to Eley Federal UltraMatch and Lapua I would trade for some more yellowjackets.

i like remington thunderbolts when available.

I've got LOADS of thunderbolts. Shipping would kill any trade though, unless you're nearby Santa Rosa or Yuba City.

If the truncated cone shape is what makes them work for you, buy some of these. Never seen 'em before, no clue if they're good...but being CCI I imagine they are.

I bought some Yellow Jacket ammo when I visited Cabelas before. They may still have them. I love that ammo.

I wonder if Remington is actually still manufacturing the Yellow Jackets.....They are still on the web page, but yeah, they aren't in stock ANYWHERE!

Remington still lists it on their website.
