Trying my luck here because a post in C&R section did not get any response.
I acquired a Beretta 948 from a fellow calgunner a few years ago. It's in good shape. However the springs are getting weak after nearly 65 years. I looked everywhere online for parts but these seem to be hard to come by. Does anyone know if I can use the main spring from a Beretta 1934 32ACP for this little 22LR? I know the recoil spring for a 32ACP would be too heavy for a 22LR to push. Maybe a recoil spring from another 22 pistol? Also the magazine spring needs to be replaced. Maybe improvise on these springs?
