I am considering this pretty little piece and wondering if anyone has one? How much did you pay\ It's quite expensive now and I wonder if the machining, fit and finish are up to a standard one would expect from a 700+ dollar .22...

I have one. I payed 800 used. It’s the best .22 pistol I have and fully adjustable.Theres nothing like it except a 2000 dollar olympic standard pistol. I also have a red dot mounted on it. keep in mind its a single action only. If you can find one buy it. You can resell it for what you got it for. -

Since you didn't say Model 87 "Target" in your post, I assume you are talking about the standard model 87. I have a standard model 87. Just purchased for $835 brand new, including tax and DROS. The standard model is DA/SA (can't speak about the Target model). It is an extremely well made gun and a sweet little shooter. It is my favorite 22 by far now. There are many less expensive alternatives, but the Cheetah (to me) is worth every penny it cost me."Bye Felicia!" - Said by me, as I looked at Kalfornia in my rearview for the last time, 9/22/17.
