.22 a2 style rifle?

I'm thinking this would be a fun project. I've been thinking of building an a2 style AR but I'd like it in .22. Has anybody seen an a2 upper chambered in 22, specifically the one piece upper with the carry handle as opposed to a flat top with a detachable carry handle?

I assume it wouldn't be too hard to find a triangular handguard if I did have to go the flattop/carry handle route. Assuming I can find a .22 upper with a full length (mid length?) gas rail setup.

I have never seen a .22 AR upper in A2 best you can hope for is buy a .22 barrel and bolt and put it in a A2 upper

This.... I'd even go further and build a dedicated upper by adding a 22LR conversion barrel.
